Your Partner in Development Strategy
Erin Baxter is a grant writing consultant, communications strategist, and nonprofit development professional dedicated to helping mission-driven organizations secure the funding they need to thrive. With experience spanning nonprofit leadership, fundraising, marketing, and publishing, she combines strategic insight with compelling storytelling to create grant proposals that resonate with funders and support long-term organizational growth.
Throughout her career, Erin has led fundraising initiatives, developed successful grant proposals, cultivated donor relationships, managed community engagement efforts, and crafted strategic communications that strengthen nonprofit impact. Her expertise extends beyond grant writing to include development strategy, proposal development, donor communications, event planning, and marketing, allowing her to help organizations build sustainable funding pipelines rather than simply pursue individual grants.
Before focusing on nonprofit consulting, Erin built an accomplished career in publishing and media. She served as Editor-in-Chief of Heart of Texas magazine and TexasHillCountry.com, editor for Lubbock Metro Leader, and a feature writer for West Texas TravelHost Magazine. These leadership roles sharpened her ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, develop compelling narratives, and connect with diverse audiences, skills that now help her craft persuasive proposals and impactful donor communications.
Erin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Technical and Scientific Communication from Texas Tech University. She brings analytical precision, strategic thinking, and a collaborative approach to every client partnership, working alongside nonprofit leaders to secure funding, strengthen organizational capacity, and advance missions that create meaningful, lasting change.
